Terms and Conditions for Santorini Villa Catering Private Chef Service

A division of Savva International E.E.

 

1) Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of private chef services by Santorini Villa Catering (a division of Savva International E.E.,”). By booking our services, you (“Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

2) Scope of Services

Santorini Villa Catering provides private chef services which may include menu design, shopping for ingredients, food preparation, on-site cooking, service of meals, and post-event clean-up. Any additional services (equipment rental, staff, or special requests) will be outlined in writing and may incur extra charges.

 

3) Booking and Confirmation

- A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. By paying the deposit, the Client accepts these Terms and Conditions.

- The remaining balance of the total service cost is due on the day of service,  via POS or cash, as agreed in the service proposal.

 

4) Fees, Taxes, and Payment Terms

- The total service cost is payable as described above. All payments are due in the currency stated in the invoice.

- Bank transfer details, accepted payment methods, and any potential processing fees will be provided in the invoice.

- Failure to pay by the agreed due date may result in the cancellation of services and loss of the deposit, at Santorini Villa Catering’s discretion.

 

5) Cancellation and Refund Policy

- The 25% deposit is non-refundable.

- Cancellation fees (calculated on the total service amount):

  - Within 14 days of the service date: 100% of the total service amount.

  - Between 15 and 28 days before the service date: 75% of the total service amount.

  - 29 days or more before the service date: 50% of the total service amount.

- The cancellation fee is calculated on the total service amount. Any applicable non-refundable deposit is included in the cancellation calculation.

- If Santorini Villa Catering must cancel for reasons within its control, we will offer a refund of fees paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit, or propose alternative dates or services at no additional cost.

 

6) Changes to Booking

- Any changes to the date, time, guest count, or scope of services must be requested in writing and are subject to availability.

- If changes result in additional costs, the Client will be invoiced accordingly.

 

7) Force Majeure

Neither party will be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or other events beyond the reasonable control of the parties. In such cases, Santorini Villa Catering will work with the Client to reschedule or adjust the services where possible.

 

8) Client Responsibilities

- Provide accurate event details (date, time, location, guest count, dietary restrictions, and any special requirements) in a timely manner.

- Ensure access to the service site, suitable facilities, and safety conditions necessary for food preparation and service.

- Inform Santorini Villa Catering of any allergies or dietary restrictions in writing prior to service.

 

9) Santorini Villa Catering Obligations and Substitutions

- Santorini Villa Catering will perform services with reasonable care and in a professional manner.

- If an exact menu item is unavailable, Santorini Villa Catering reserves the right to substitute with a similar item of equal or greater quality, with prior notice to the Client.

 

10) Food Safety, Allergens, and Dietary Considerations

- The Client is responsible for communicating all dietary restrictions and food allergies in writing prior to service.

- SantoriniMC follows applicable food safety regulations. Allergen information will be provided where possible, but it is the Client’s responsibility to inform guests of any potential allergens.

 

11) Liability and Indemnity

- Santorini Villa Catering’s liability for any claim arising out of the provision of services is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the services giving rise to the claim.

- In no event will Santorini Villa Catering be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

 

12) Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

- Any menus, recipes, or materials provided by Santorini Villa Catering remain the property of Santorini Villa Catering. The Client may not reproduce or reuse proprietary materials for commercial purposes without consent.

- Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed in connection with the services.

 

13) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the services are performed (or as otherwise agreed in writing).

- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved amicably where possible, and, if necessary, through the appropriate court or arbitration forum in the applicable jurisdiction.

 

14) Changes to Terms

Santorini Villa Catering reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted and will apply to bookings made after the date of the change. Clients should review the Terms and Conditions before submitting a booking.

 

15) Entire Agreement; Severability

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Client and Santorini Villa Catering regarding private chef services and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

By booking Santorini Villa Catering private chef services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
